Chair

KIARA SUTADISASTRA

The Chair is traditionally viewed as the face of the Association and is a point of contact within the Faculty, with other Associations and with University organs alike, such as the Programme Committee. Furthermore, they are in charge of chairing Board meetings and setting the agenda of these meetings, as well as presiding over General Members’ Assemblies (GMAs). The Chair is to carry out the duties entrusted to her with utmost diligence and aims to reinforce the positive reputation of the Association in the faculty and amongst other Associations at the University. Moreover, importance will be placed on clear communication within the Board and to the Members of the Association in-and-outside of (GMAs), presenting themselves as a friendly and reachable figure.

Treasurer

ANJALI FESTEN

The Treasurer plays a crucial role in maintaining the organization’s financial stability and ensuring transparency in all monetary matters. Their responsibilities include preparing budgets, keeping accurate financial records, and providing clear, detailed financial updates to the Board. The Treasurer also ensures meticulous oversight of all committee expenditures, fostering accountability and supporting informed decision-making regarding financial strategy and resource allocation. Moreover, the Treasurer leads the Academic Committee, which supports members by coordinating the sale of course notes and organizing crash courses. Given the sensitive nature of this role,  they are expected to approach their responsibilities with integrity, diligence, and a commitment to transparency.

Coordinator of Internal Affairs

AVANI DATEY

The Coordinator of Internal Affairs is responisble for the development and progress of all committees within the association, bridging connections between students, associations and the faculty. The COIA hopes to nurture strong bonds betwen Nexus members, see them thrive in both professional and social settings and enable them to gain experience through activities an events throughout their time at the RUG.

Coordinator of External Affairs

RISHI NARENDRAN

The Coordinator of External Affairs is responsible for building and managing relationships with external parties, such as law firms, businesses, and academic institutions, to benefit the association and its members. The COEA's vision includes increasing Nexus's visibility, creating professional opportunities like internships and mentorships, and organising key external events such as a European Law Summit. The summit aims to establish Nexus as a leader in legal discussions, bringing together professionals and students to explore contemporary legal issues while enhancing Nexus's reputation.
